Bruce Peninsula is located between Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. The park is 155 square Kilometers. There are many beautiful things to see such as caves and under ground streams. Fun fact Bruce Peninsula is the home to some of the oldest tree's in Canada.Bruce peninsula has many activities and places to stay while visiting. There is a beautiful rock beach with crystal clear water for you to just relax and if you want swim in. There is also a beautiful grotto for you to swim in. But, if you are more of a "on the go" kind of person you will also be able to go hiking and see the beautiful caves of Bruce peninsula. For example hiking to Greig's cave you will be able to see the breath taking view of Georgian Bay. While visiting Georgian Bay you can also visit the beautiful old fashion light house. The Lion's Den Lighthouse. It is placed in a very calm and clean area. There is also a very relaxing beach right beside the lighthouse with the same calm and crystal clear water as the main rock beach. If you come it visit in the winter you can go winter hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. There a variety of animals that live in Bruce Peninsula such as the white-tailed deer, the black bear and the Massasauga rattle snake. There are some beautiful plants that grow in Bruce Peninsula such as the Yellow lady`s slipper, Showy lady`s slippers and the Maidenhair spleenwort.
